Christie Brooks is a Functional Medicine Practitioner. She is also a Registered Dietitian (RD) for over 25+ years and 15+ years Diabetes Educator. Christie is a member of both the Institute of Functional Medicine and the School of Applied Functional Medicine. She did her Dietetic Internship through the Indiana University-Purdue University Medical School. And obtained her Masters in Clinical Nutrition at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She and her husband have two young adult children.
Christie’s history includes being a certified personal trainer, Crossfit Level 1 Trainer, a half marathon runner, restaurant owner, Arkansas’ Emerging Dietitian of the Year (2006), coach of her daughter’s sports teams, adjunct professor at Harding University, Voted Best of the Best in Arkansas Democrat Gazette 2021, Phlebotomist, author and speaker. She has overcome a 9-year journey of an eating disorder that started at the age of 12. Her thirst for knowledge and understanding the mind-body-spirit connection, has become a passion and is clear to see in her educating and empowering others.
Using patient-centered, evidence-based healing modalities for Lifestyle Medicine, Christie addresses the root cause of the body systems imbalance and offers one-on-one personalized wellness plans. Each client begins with a “Symptoms to Solutions” Functional Medicine Consultation and Assessment.
Some need something as simple as repairing and replenishing gut health for balancing hormones just to help clients get weight off. Some are multifactorial from Adrenal or Thyroid Insufficiency along with poor gut health and inflammation. She quickly welcomes working in unity with all PCPs, mental health therapists, or whomever is offering health care, all for the benefit of the client’s healing journey.
Christie’s passion is to help others with their health simply through Lifestyle Medicine, which is movement and good nutrition, relying heavily on the Creator’s pharmacy of colorful food, herbs, and botanicals that provide an abundance of phytonutrients, minerals, and vitamins. She helps people heal so that prescription medicines are no longer necessary.
You can find her book, “Root Cause: Turning Symptoms into Solutions” on Amazon.

Meet Brittany Pomeroy
Brittany Pomeroy is a Certified Revelation Wellness Instructor and a Life Coach, offering 1:1 virtual coaching AND Group Session. Brittany is passionate about empowering women and reshaping lives. She will be following up with all new clients within 1-2 weeks after seeing our Functional Medicine Practitioner.
Brittany was previously a Preschool Teacher with an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, she works as a healer today and helps people navigate their way to health and wellness. Brittany empowers people to restore, rebuild, and recreate their mind, body, and spirit using exercise, faith, and self-love.
Before formulating Mustard Seed Wellness, a faith-based wellness and fitness community, Brittany spent almost a decade as a stay-at-home mom, inching forward one step at a time on her personal health/healing journey while raising a family and helping her husband build an HVAC business from the ground up.
Brittany never envisioned becoming a healer and discovered her passion for empowering others amid her transformational journey. Today, she uses faith, love, and encouragement to help people tie their lives back together and reverse physical, emotional, and spiritual pain.
As a Wellness Instructor, Brittany mentors people through in-person & virtual faith-based fitness programs and acts as a light for women and children seeking inspiration. A woman of God on a mission to positively impact lives, she helps people build faith and live gloriously.
Brittany spent her entire life in Southern New Hampshire and lives in Deerfield, NH, with her husband and two kids. She loves creating timeless memories with her family, volunteering as a youth group leader at her church, spending time outdoors, fishing, hunting. A woman of faith and drive, you will often find her with a Bible in one hand and a coffee in the other.
“All you need is faith the size of a mustard seed, and nothing will be impossible.”
Brittany is bringing a much needed topic to the table – Body Image.
Our young children, young moms and older women are all exposed to society’s pressures of looking a certain way to be accepted or noticed. We use painful tactics from strict dieting, indulging into excessive exercise, even leading to eating disorders or surgeries.
What IF there is a new kind of freedom when these chains are broken? What would that look like?

Meet Roxie Campbell
Roxie Campbell is our Virtual Office Assistant. She is the pleasant voice on the phone call or by email. Roxie fills big shoes playing a large role behind the scenes, which allows Christie to just focus on helping her clients.
She grew up in South Arkansas and moved to Searcy in 2008, where she and her husband now call home. Roxie is a mom to four wonderful kids and three bonus in-law kids. Known as “MooMoo” by her three grandbabies, Roxie is expecting a number four to arrive next year.
Roxie got her first degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Science with an Associate in Radiologic Sciences.
She has a bachelors from Harding University in Leadership and Management. And has worked as a radiology tech for over 20 years, amongst the many other hats she’s worn within the medical field and outside medical field.
Besides enjoying her time as a MooMoo, Roxie enjoys fishing, hunting, camping and being with family. Her joy is spending time with our Lord and Savior, preferably with coffee, and His word, or with brothers and sisters through Him. “I believe He is the giver of all Grace and the Great Physician. I strive to help each person that I come in contact with know this for themselves.”
